| American Jews have been deprived of patronage of Watertown authorities in Massachusetts |

| The Town Council of Watertown, Massachusetts, unanimously decided to cut the connection with the Jewish All-American organization Alliance against Terror, as the latter doesn't recognize the Armenian Genocide.
Radio Liberty reports that the Hay Dat office in East Massachusetts welcomes the decision of Watertown's Town Council. Sharistan Melkonian, Chairman of the Hay Dat office, hopes that this step will make the Jewish organization and its leader Abraham Foxman change their position on the Armenian Genocide and give up their efforts exerted against recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Congress. The statement of Marilyn Devaney, a member of the Town Council, runs that the Town Council is concerned about the fact that the Alliance against Terror organization denies the the horrible Armenian Genocide of 1915-1923, therefore the Town Council can't communicate with such organization any longer. |
